Louise and Jeff Davis
Long-time Cascade members Jeff and Louise Davis have made six summer-long bike trips in Europe through the Netherlands and Germany and 9 adjacent countries. But never to Denmark, until this year. They had seen Denmark often described as one the most bike-friendly countries on the planet, and decided to check it out for themselves. They'll take us 544 miles across nine islands in southern Denmark, all the way to Copenhagen and Hamlet's castle. As they've done in past Cascade presentations about cycling in Europe, they will include information on how to find lodging, bike routes and bike maps, as well as show you scenes along the way, from rolling country roads and quaint villages to ferries and seasides and a museum filled with genuine Viking ships brought up from the deep.
