Redmond and Woodinville Bike Trails
If you are new, please read our newcomer information.
Please join us for a leisurely, low-key, ride entirely on the trails between Redmond and Woodinville. OK, it's not entirely on the trails - we have to cross the street a couple times! This ride is designed for beginner riders, or riders who've been off the bike for a long time. We'll stay together and support each other, so if you are just learning to ride, this might be perfect!
This is the last ride in this series - for now. Next week, please join us for the Getting Ready to Ride series! On the eastside, the first one can be found here: https://cascade.org/node/70629, but there are rides that start in several locations in the area. Check the calendar!
Rest stops: There is always a portable restroom at the start, but there may be no place to fill water bottles (sometimes the bathrooms are locked), so please do that before arriving. There are other places to stop along the way, and it is a short ride, but there will be at least one break for homemade cookies baked by the ride leader's wife, Susan!
Weather: If you want to ride even if it is raining, this is the ride for you! But really heavy rain or dangerous conditions, such snow or ice, or large numbers of branches on the trail after a windstorm, will result in a cancellation. In that event, the ride leader will post this information here at least two hours before the start of the ride, and the ride leader will not be at the start of the ride.
Registration: Please sign the electronic waiver above by clicking the "Register Now" button. There is no need to unregister if you can't attend.
Please arrive by 9:45 AM to get your bicycle and gear ready and listen to the safety briefing, so we can depart promptly at 10:00 AM.
Ride leader mentoring is available for this ride. If you are interested, please contact me: email@example.com.
