We want YOU to be a team captain

As we've seen time and time again, many bike commuters begin riding because of encouragement from a friend or colleague. Don't you want to be the person who makes your friends fall in love with two wheels?

The Commute Challenge presented by Adobe begins May 1, and we're calling on YOU to become a team captain and form a team today. Team captains play an important role in this annual online trip-tracking contest. Team captains form teams among coworkers or friends, offer encouragement and tips to riders, inspire teammates to keep riding throughout the month, and generally make the Commute Challenge a fun experience for new and experienced riders.

Being a team captain is easy--all you have to do is form a team on the Commute Challenge website and invite riders-- and most people say it's a lot of fun. Plus, all captains get a free T-shirt and an invitation to a free party at Captains Bash at Pike Brewery (not to mention bragging rights).

If you're an experienced commuter, please consider lending a hand and being a team captain. Reach out to a newbie, invite them to your team, and encourage them to keep riding throughout Bike Month and beyond.

Sign up as a captain and form your team today!
